This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week focused on the theme of 'movement' and at Serve Legal, we took this opportunity to encourage our team to get active and break their usual routines. With many of our team members working primarily from home, we designed a fun and engaging challenge to motivate everyone to incorporate more movement into their week.
At Serve Legal, we understand that a healthy workforce is a happy and productive workforce. To accomplish the incredible work that our team does, we make an active effort to prioritise healthy mental health and well-being. This Movement Week Bingo is just one of our initiatives to continue encouraging wellness among our employees.
To make the challenge exciting, we created a bingo movement card featuring a variety of activities such as running, swimming, climbing, walking, and fitness challenges. For every activity completed and box ticked off, Serve Legal pledged to donate £10 to Young Minds, a charity dedicated to supporting young people’s mental health; completing an entire row on the bingo card would result in an extra £10 donation.
To support our team in participating in these activities, we offered each staff member £10 to contribute towards the cost of their chosen activity. This initiative was a fantastic way for our team to engage in physical activities while raising money for a great cause.
The response from our team was incredible. By the end of the week, the Serve Legal team completed all 25 blocks on the bingo card, raising an impressive £370 for Young Minds. We are extremely proud of our team’s enthusiasm and commitment to both their own well-being and the well-being of others.
Take a look through some of the images of our team and the activities they enjoyed this week. We hope this inspires others to get moving and support mental health initiatives in their communities.
